Mekhi Phifer

What do Spike Lee, William Shakespeare and an Emergency Room have in common? They are all represented on the Mekhi Phifer web site. The star of blockbuster hits like Clockers, 'O' and I Still Know What You did Last Summer, and a recent addition to the cast of television's "ER," Mekhi approached Brave New Telemedia for advice on how to create a fan-based informational website. Phifer's goal was to launch a site which provides info to the public and also offers an online store for purchasing merchandise, a photo gallery highlighting his career, and the ability for fans to contact him.

The creation of a Flash introduction with custom graphics and music, utilizing Mekhi's long list of credits and various publicity shots, allows the web site to immediately impart the unique style of this exciting young actor. Brave New Telemedia carried over the stylized design throughout the site to maintain a coherent feel and provide a consistent experience for Mekhi's fans.

By integrating a photo gallery, an email form and an online storefront, Brave New Telemedia was able to give Mekhi exactly what the script called for. A web presence complete with biographical information, images, a store for purchasing posters and autographs, and a means for his fans to connect with him.
